Terms and conditions

1. Hire costs are to be paid in full at the time of booking by Direct Credit or by Credit Card over the phone. The booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full.

2. Payment constitutes agreement to these General Terms and Conditions of Hire.

3. Upon payment, the dates and times of hire are binding and all changes are subject to a 14-day notice period.

4. Bookings cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice are NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes partial cancellations where the scooter is collected later or returned earlier than warranted and applies irrespective of flight cancellations or delays.

5. Changes to dates or times of booking are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee of $25.00.

6. Extensions to the hire term require up-front payment and are subject to availability.

7. Scooters must be returned promptly at the agreed time. Late returns will be subject to an additional day’s hire cost.

8. On the Day of Hire, the hirer is required to execute a Rental Agreement and must comply with all conditions therein. Please note that the scooter may only be ridden by license holders listed on the Rental Agreement and under no circumstances is the hirer to allow a third party to ride it. The hirer will be responsible for any costs incurred as a result.

9. Broome Scooter Hire reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking without notice if the rider is considered unsafe to ride on the road.

10. Broome Scooter Hire may offer airport transfers as a courtesy service. This free service is generally only offered to hires of four days or more, is subject to availability and does not form part of the hire arrangement.
